I think it’s safe to say that you know how good coconut oil is for your skin and hair. But coconut oil is good for so many other things as well.
And that’s why today I wanted to share a few lesser-known anti-aging coconut oil hacks…
- A slowing metabolism happens with age. Speed it up with 1000mgs of coconut oil 2-3 times daily.
- Consuming 2-3 tablespoons of coconut oil every day improves blood circulation to the hands, feet, brain and heart.
- Get rid of age spots with coconut oil. Apply twice a day for best results.
- A study that used virgin coconut oil supplementation in rat models with osteoporosis proved to prevent additional bone loss. So use as a shield for your bones.
- Because coconut oil is antiviral, antibacterial and antifungal it can restore the lining of the gut. Take coconut oil for any and all digestive issues like leaky gut, Crohn’s, parasites, funguses, viruses, candida, etc.
- Coconut oil also speeds up healing for burns and cuts. Just apply topically as you would neosporin.
- Take a teaspoon of virgin coconut oil for a boost of energy when needed.
- Coconut oil can also improve a slow thyroid. To see a difference, incorporate it in your smoothies and coffee and replace your other oils for cooking.
